Under the Access To Public Records Act

The Limerock Fire Department adheres to the Access to Public Records Act, R.I. Gen. Laws §38-2-1, et. seq., and has institutes the following procedures for the public to obtain public records.
 

To reach us by telephone please call (401) 334-2131 and ask to speak with Ms L. Heaton. Requests for records that are not available pursuant to R.I.G.L. § 42-35-2 or are prepared for or readily available to the public must be mailed to Ms. L Heaton, who is designated to handle these matters. The mailing address is: 1085 Great Road Lincoln, RI 02865. Requests may also be hand delivered to Ms. L. Heaton located at the Great Road Fire Station located at 1085 Great Road Lincoln  or requests may be emailed to taxes@limerockfd.org
 

The regular business hours of the office are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday.
 

Please be advised that the Access to Public Records Act allows a public body ten (10) business days to respond, which can be extended an additional twenty (20) business days for "good cause." We appreciate your understanding and patience.
 

If you feel that you have been denied access to public records, you have the right to file a review petition with the Attorney General. You may also file a lawsuit in Superior Court.
